The CO2 indicators are an illustrative example of the "political power" of indicators. Environmental and Sustainable Development policy, however, is not limited to Climate Change or CO2 --it is a fairly complex policy area and therefore needs both an appropriate analytical framework, and a more comprehensive set of indicators. Le travail de l'AEE [European Environment Agency] s'inscrit dans un cadre conceptuel, dénommé «cadre d'évaluation FPEIR».
